Several thousand demonstrators, from Germany, France, Switzerland or other European countries, marched this Sunday in the Belgian capital to protest once morest the health pass and the restrictions linked to the Covid-19 pandemic. “I just ask to be able to return to my work, I have been suspended since September 15 because I did not want to be injected,” explains Céline, who came from France to demonstrate. “We are simply trying to recover our right to live, to move and to be happy,” adds Carla, another protester.
Clashes with law enforcement
Tensions arose on the sidelines of the rallies, especially near the European Parliament. Some videos show barriers thrown at police located at the entrance to a metro station or projectiles thrown at the police. The police, meanwhile, fired tear gas and water cannons.
