After 5 hours 20 minutes of travel, the first Air Canada plane in a long series between Toronto (Canada) and Fort-de-France landed on the Martinique tarmac, where a “water salute” awaited it. In the terminal, a reception committee was present to welcome the first passengers of this new line. Because until further notice, every Saturday, a plane takes off from Toronto at 8:15 a.m. and lands on the runway of Aimé-Césaire airport at 2:35 p.m.
