More and more people are called, but still a few are chosen. As Paris Games Week takes place this week, there are now more than 16,000 content creators in France

linked to video games, according to the Reech agency which measures influence on social networks. There were still fewer than 10,000 five years ago; the multiple confinements, which have taken the video game industry to new heights, have given rise to numerous vocations.

“For the vast majority of video game content creators, this practice remains a hobby,” underlines Yannick Pons, director of development at Reech.
