Some displaced people from the border town of Aita Shab were attacked by members of the Hezbollah-affiliated guerrilla group in the town of Tula in the Tire district. It is understood that some Aita Shabu people took refuge in the town of Tula, renting safe houses, and a dispute broke out between a displaced renting family in Tula and a party official, which turned into a “party liaison officer” attack. The hierarchy stepped in to calm the situation and promised to fire party officials responsible for the issue.
Commenting on the incident, the mayor of Aita Shaab, Mohammad Khalil Surul, issued a statement of condemnation, saying: “The proud Aita Shaab represents pride and dignity and stands in the first row to sleep.
