Among the different projects that the Stable Choir of the Province, under the direction of Maestro Roberto Peralta, has scheduled for the 2023 cycle, the most important is to disseminate and value the folkloric repertoire of our country and our province. For this they have been presenting songs from different times and regions of the country in public. Among them, they wanted to honor Santiago del Estero on the day of its Provincial Autonomy, interpreting the Argentine National Anthem sung in Quichua.
The Provincial Stable Choir is a group that works thanks to the support of the Undersecretary of Culture and performs its rehearsals at the 25 de Mayo Theater. It is made up of 50 choristers of different ages who are grouped into four voices: sopranos, altos, tenors and basses.
In addition to said popular repertoire, his repertoire includes pieces of a classical and universal nature, with lyrics in different languages such as Latin, German, Italian and Russian.
