Vienna – Marlene Streeruwitz receives the Vienna Book Prize 2023, which is awarded by the Book Management Group and is endowed with 5,000 euros. The draftsman and illustrator Nicolas Mahler is awarded the Performance Prize (1,000 euros), which is being awarded for the first time longtime publisher Martina Schmidt (Deuticke). The award ceremony will take place on June 2nd in the Literature Museum in Vienna.
