It was supposed to be a peaceful celebration – then the sparks flew!
There was a brutal escalation at a wedding in Cologne on Friday evening. At least three men (34, 40, 45) were seriously injured by stabs and cuts, the police said when asked by BILD.
▶︎ At 6 p.m. the officers were alerted to the “Eurosaal” in the Vogelsang district. A police spokesman: “There was an argument between those involved, which later moved outside.”

Three people are said to have been injured with a “sharp object” – danger to life cannot be ruled out in two cases, the spokesman continued. The police responded with a large contingent, but three suspected perpetrators apparently managed to get away in vehicles. According to BILD information, the celebration is a Kurdish wedding.
