A 57-year-old man was violently killed Friday evening in Deerlijk and his partner and two adult children were arrested in the followingmath. The victim’s daughter was, however, released, the West Flanders prosecutor’s office said on Sunday.
The fifty-year-old was violently killed in a home on Sint-Pietersabdijstraat in Deerlijk on Friday evening. The prosecution, the laboratory and the forensic doctor went to the scene. An autopsy also took place on Saturday.
The victim’s partner and her two adult children were arrested and interviewed. The man’s daughter has already been released.
The prosecution will communicate later on the fate of the partner and the son of the fifty-year-old.
