A double crime was recorded on the night of June 29, 2022, in a town in Guayaquil, Ecuadorin which a police officer experienced the most heartbreaking moment of his life, following finding his youngest daughter and wife dead.
The sad scene was recorded on a video, where it shows the man bursting into tears when he saw his relatives lying on the ground following suffering an attack, which caused their death.

In the clip broadcast on social networks, you can hear how the neighbors cry when they hear the screams of the man, who lost his wife and daughter of just 13 years of age. “Let me go, let me go… kill me too,” the man shouted between tears and despair.
According to local media, the man’s pain was unimaginable, as he was screaming to be killed. Also, the neighbors of the place witnessed that the inconsolable law enforcement officer tried to snatch the weapon from an officer to shoot himself.

Fortunately, the quick action of the agents prevented the night from being worse than it already was.

How did the event happen?
According to the information handled by the local authorities, they believe that it is due to a possible retaliation once morest the wife and daughter of the sergeant.
In addition, they reported that the hit man managed to circumvent the security of the area and then run to the residence, with the aim of getting the woman and her daughter into his truck, to finally shoot them at close range.
Henry Herrera, colonel and zonal chief of the Violent Deaths Unit (Dinased), explained that, following the bullet wounds, the driver managed to advance a few more meters until she ended up colliding with other vehicles and a house.
Both died instantly inside the truck in which they were traveling, while two other minors, who were in the back seats, were injured.

“The two victims have a relative who is a police officer with the rank of sergeant and works here in the city of Guayaquil,” Herrera said. “According to the testimonies of witnesses, the two minors (who were traveling in the truck) were placed in a safe place.”
Justice is already investigating the tragic event to find the whereregardings of the person responsible. For their part, citizens complain regarding the insecurity that plagues the country.
