Bengaluru: After the defeat in the match once morest Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore player Virat Kohli fined. Kohli has been fined 10 percent of his match fee for violating the IPL code of conduct.
The BCCI advisory committee has not specified the incident that led to the fine, but it is reported that the reason for the action was Kohli’s celebration when the wicket of Chennai star Shivam Dubey fell in the match.
Meanwhile, Chennai won the match by eight runs. After losing the toss, Chennai batted first and scored 226 runs for the loss of six wickets thanks to the innings of Devon Conway (83), Shivam Dubey (52) and Ajinkya Rahane (37). In reply, RCB fought back through captain Faf du Plessis (62) and Glenn Maxwell (76), but the game was abandoned following both were dismissed. Virat Kohli (6) also failed to shine.
