The Vita Ten Uyt swimming pool, in Mol, in the province of Antwerp, was evacuated this Saturday followingnoon following a smell of gas. The hundred people present had to leave the building.
Firefighters, who inspected the scene, were unable to find the origin of the smell.
The fitness room and the catering building located next to the swimming pool were also evacuated as a precaution.
It is not yet known how long the pool will remain closed.
