Russian President Vladimir Putin admitted that he did not regret his trip to Chukotka. He said that such working visits are important for understanding people’s problems.

“I don’t regret going there. Why? Because it’s one thing when you know it from papers, and another thing when you look at it with your own eyes. [Благодаря таким поездкам]you begin to understand how people live with the priority tasks that need to be solved there,” told Vladimir Putin in conversation with journalist Pavel Zarubin. The Russian leader also concluded that such trips cannot be replaced by anything.

Putin on January 10 for the first time visited the territory Chukotka. He arrived on a working visit to the city of Anadyr. He also promised to visit Yakutia. URA.RU cited main presidential statements since that trip.
