On June 7, Volvo will unveil a compact crossover SUV, dubbed the EX30. Now the Swedes are showing another teaser that allows conclusions to be drawn regarding the design.
The all-electric model is a four-door with a gently sloping roof line and a large tailgate. The headlights – this emerges from a video published at the same time – are similar to the large EX90, which costs from 102,300 euros. The EX30 will be much cheaper, it might start at around 40,000 euros.
Technically, the Volvo EX30 is closely related to the new Smart #1. Incidentally, there are also overlaps in the vehicle architecture, which goes by the name SEA, with the significantly larger and more powerful Lotus Eletre. The three brands are controlled by the Chinese Geely Holding. (awm)
