Vienna – The Association of Austrian Newspapers (VÖZ) has conditionally withdrawn the termination of the journalists’ collective agreement announced in September, which would have taken effect at the end of the year. The decision was made by the board at a meeting on Wednesday, it said in a release. A corresponding agreement with the journalists’ union in the GPA was accepted.
