Vienna (OTS) – The Vienna Boys’ Choir, a living cultural asset of inestimable value, not only shines beyond the borders of Austria, but also resonates worldwide as ambassadors of musical brilliance. The state party chairman of the Vienna People’s Party, City Councilor Karl Mahrer, expressed a clear commitment to the promotion and preservation of this important institution.
“The Vienna Boys’ Choir is a cultural asset for all of Austria, with radiance throughout the world. We must do everything we can, especially in these times, to preserve this cultural asset. I will use all opportunities at the federal, state and important institutions to make my point here to make a contribution from the Vienna People’s Party,” emphasizes Mahrer decisively.
In order to quickly and specifically examine various aid measures, Mahrer has already had a telephone conversation with Federal Chancellor Karl Nehammer. “The Chancellor assured me that he would work on a timely and positive solution,” said Mahrer.
