For those who like to go one or more times a year to Walibi, this is bad news which can be discovered on the amusement park’s website. For the 2024 season, ticket and subscription prices will increase further. This is the case almost every year, but the increase is once more quite strong: almost 10%, with an adult ticket for a day going from €45 to €49. It’s simple, the ticket has cost almost €10 since the start of 2020, when it “only” cost €39.5.
Obviously several reasons can legitimately be mentioned. We think of the health crisis which cost the park dearly in terms of attendance. There was also all the damage linked to the floods of July 2021, without forgetting the energy crisis which hurt this major consumer. Finally, we think of the massive investments made by the park. In 2017, a 100 million euro plan was launched and new attractions were created.
However, such an increase was not expected in 2024, since things seem to have stabilized across the board. From 2022 to 2023, we had already gone from €42 to €45 per adult ticket. What regarding subscriptions? The Walibi Pass goes from €115 to €130. For the most complete package, the Platinium Pass, we go from €420 to €510.
So it’s starting to get expensive to spend a day with the family, but there are always ways to pay less. The park is already launching promotions for the 2024 season, and other sites, including auctions, can provide great savings.
