“I never imagined living this here”: Alina and her mother, two Ukrainian refugees, victims of a violent attack in France by a “man speaking Russian”
Alina and her mother Olena fled Ukraine last April following Vladimir Putin’s Russia began to invade their country. They took refuge in France, where they thought they were safe, but there they were victims of a violent attack by a man speaking Russian: “I did not imagine myself living here at all”, explains the young woman at the Parisian.
