The Russian president ruled on Thursday that his forces had with “hit” took control of the Ukrainian city of Mariupol, ordering the besieging of the remaining Ukrainian fighters rather than storming the Azovstal industrial site where they are entrenched.
“The end of the Mariupol liberation work is a success“, said Vladimir Putin to his Minister of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, following telling him that an attack on the Azovstal site was not “not appropriate“and that had to be besieged”the area in such a way that not a single fly passes“.
