Muscat: Oman’s Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MOCIIP) has issued a warning notice to commercial establishments that they are not allowed to use the Sultanate of Oman’s royal symbols such as the flag, map and royal seal on their products or advertisements without a license. The Ministry said that necessary legal action will be taken once morest the violators.
The national emblem, the country’s flag and the map of the Sultanate of Oman can be licensed from the Ministry for use in various commercial products. Businesses and companies interested in using it in their products or advertisements should submit applications to the Commerce Directorate of MOCIIP or related directorates including product samples,” the ministry said.
