The president of the K block in Deputies warns that Milei’s reversal on the tax reform “is a trap”

The Santa Fe deputy Germán Martínez, president of the Unión por la Patria bloc, warned this Saturday that Javier Milei’s decision to remove the tax reform from the omnibus law “It is a trap“and focused on the delegation of powers.

“Some may believe that postponing the debate on fiscal issues is a triumph. But, in reality, it is a trap,” Martínez highlighted through the social network X, in reference to the announcement made by the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, in Friday night.

Martínez listed ten reasons why, according to him, the delegation of powers to the President will have a negative impact on his province. He pointed out that with these superpowers “he will be able to liquidate the Sustainability Guarantee Fund”, “he will be able to increase the retirement age, eliminate pension moratoriums and review special regimes” and also intervene strategic organizations such as “INTA, INTI, CONICET, SENASA, INASE and others”.

“Caputo made it clear that he will aim at fiscal balance by cutting other expenses. And Milei said that he is going to ‘melt down’ the provinces,” said Martínez, and also focused on deepening the removal of transportation subsidies, privatizations of companies of the State and cuts in Culture.
