Al-Marsad newspaper: Social media activists circulated a video clip of the Lebanese artist Abeer Nehme crying in front of her audience on stage following announcing that she was divorced while performing one of her songs in Beirut.
The video showed Abeer fighting back her tears, but she might not control herself, so she turned her face away from the audience following being emotional at the beginning of the song “I Love You.” Seconds later, she confessed to the audience regarding the reason for her crying and said in English what it meant: “I am divorced.”
The audience responded to Abeer with warm applause throughout, in an attempt to support her morally.
