Al-Marsad newspaper: A video clip showed the Egyptian artist Sherine Abdel Wahab affected and crying during her talk regarding her concert in Carthage, Tunisia, and it came following her absence from singing for long periods and the events of her divorce.
Sherine Abdel Wahab said during her meeting with the “Her Excellency” program, that she received an invitation from the Egyptian ambassador in Tunisia to participate in the Carthage Festival, and at first she was hesitant because she was healthy because she was suffering from water retention in her body and was not able to sing well for a long time.
She explained that in the rehearsal of the Carthage Festival, she and her manager cried because she had great difficulty singing and her voice was not able to come out.
She indicated that she did not expect to receive the audience at the Carthage Festival and drew her strength from the audience’s positive energy and was able to sing for a longer period than agreed.
