ABEMA will stream all races of the 2024 World Rally Championship (WRC) season, which starts on the 25th, for free. The opening race, Rally Monte Carlo, will be streamed over two days from 9pm on the 27th and 7:30pm on the 28th.

Rallye Monte Carlo, the opening round of the 2024 season, is a rally that takes place in the Principality of Monaco and France, and boasts the longest history in the WRC. This season, Takamoto Katsuta is the only Japanese driver participating from TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, which aims to win the WRC for the fourth consecutive year, and expectations are high for his first win.

ABEMA will be broadcasting SS12 live from 9pm on the 27th, including footage from the site. On the final day, the 28th, from 7:30 pm, we will broadcast footage of the Power Stage (SS17), where the final rankings will be determined, along with footage from the field.

Niki, who is active as a model, was appointed as the local reporter. Through interviews with players in English, the program will convey the charm of Rallye Monte Carlo in its entirety.

Niki’s comment

I am very honored to have been chosen to be involved in my favorite motorsports business.

I’m planning to go to the site and report on it, so I hope to be able to convey to everyone in an easy-to-understand manner the atmosphere there, the enthusiasm of the players, and the fun and realism of the WRC.

Through this program, we hope to increase the number of motorsports fans and make WRC, the world’s highest level of rally racing, a major sport!
