“We had to make a decision with the team, the Festival’s content director and obviously the animators,” Morales revealed to The latest news.
“At that moment, what prevailed was the artist’s decision. We were not going to take Belén Mora down from the stage, that was her decision. She had her timing, her timing, her routine and we respect that,” she commented.
For the director, Belenaza deserved the Silver Gull “because many people were asking for it” and following that she continued with her routine.
“The criteria was always that the artist decide when to leave the stage. She wanted to continue. We just ratified that decision,” she said.
