Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif while addressing the Food and Agriculture Expo in Karachi has said that he wants to increase the agricultural production, wants business-to-business relations with China. Speaking at the Food and Agriculture Expo in Karachi, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan welcomes all dignitaries on their arrival. The Chinese delegation consists of one and a half hundred businessmen. Pakistan is bound in a strong relationship, the brotherly relationship has to be transformed into strong trade ties.
Shahbaz Sharif said that one thousand agricultural graduates are being sent to China for refresher courses, Pakistan’s economy is based on agriculture, last year agricultural exports were 3 billion dollars, agricultural exports will be taken up to 7 billion dollars. Pakistan wants to increase its agricultural production by benefiting from China’s experiences.
The Prime Minister said that it is desired that business-to-business relations with China should be strengthened, in the second phase of CPEC, attention is also being paid to business-to-business, he wants to increase exports through the transfer of Chinese industry in Pakistan.
