The trial in Santa Fe was scheduled to begin on Wednesday (local time) with jury selection. The American woman who was jointly responsible for the weapons and security precautions during the film shoot has been charged with negligent homicide. She faces up to 18 months in prison. The procedure is expected to take around two weeks.
