WEC: Small crash, then huge crash of the Toyota N.7 at the 1000 Miles of Sebring

Big scare for the driver of the Toyota TS050 Hybrid N.7 Jose Maria Lopez this Friday during the 1000 Miles of Sebring: while he was temporarily leading the opening event of the 2022 WEC season, the World Endurance Championship, the Argentinian lost control of his Hypercar twice.

José Maria Lopez initially managed to get back on track following hitting the wall of tires for the first time following contact with a Porsche 911 RSR GTE before crashing into a wall of tires much more violently. less than a minute later, obviously due to a technical failure.

The Argentinian driver of the Toyota N.7 came out unscathed, but the race was neutralized (red flag) to allow the tire wall to be refurbished.
