This is one of the books that the press is talking regarding a lot in this literary season. “Western” by Lorraine author Maria Pourchet wins the Media Gold Leaf Prize – Batigère in partnership with France Bleu Sud Lorraine, France 3 Lorraine, Est Républicain and Maison Mengin.
The prize will be awarded to Maria Pourchet on the France Bleu du Livre stand on the Place on Sunday 10 September at 12:30 p.m. Western notably tells the story of a well-known comedian who flees almost everything fearing that a heavy secret will be revealed. He meets a woman who has also come to isolate herself in her mother’s house. A reflection on the relations between women and men following the Metoo movement.
