– Egypt is keen to develop its military capabilities in all branches and specializations and to introduce the latest combat and technical systems. Various models have been contracted in light of the policy adopted to diversify the sources of weapons. Please clarify the types and models that have joined our air forces recently?

The Air Force has also been supported by a large number of armed Kamov attack helicopters, and a number of armed unmanned guided aircraft systems And (Casa-Ilyushin 76) transport aircraft, in addition to managing all types of missiles, ammunition, technical and ground assistance for aircraft, in line with our requirements, so that we have an integrated system of the latest multi-tasking aircraft, transport, early warning, reconnaissance, attack and armed helicopters, and public service from different countries of the world.

– How are Air Force fighters prepared and qualified, as well as Air College students, to deal in light of the continuous progress in global armament technology and modern systems?

Training is the effective element in developing operations plans and the idea of ​​use to achieve the tasks of the Air Force. The development of training in the Air Force takes place in several stages, starting with the Air College, which is the cornerstone for pumping new blood from pilots and airmen into the ranks of the Air Force. In the field of engineering insurance, the insurance business of the Air Force is represented in preparing the theater of operations to ensure the continuation of the training and work of the Air Force in peace and war, and its protection during its stationing and deployment. Within the framework of the political leadership’s keenness to continue the war on terrorism until its roots are uprooted, and its constant affirmation that confronting terrorism with a body and force has become a duty at all levels and through a comprehensive strategy, and from this logic, the war on terrorism has become one of the new tasks that the Air Force has been entrusted with participation With the branches of the armed forces, which included flights to attack terrorist outposts and thwart many cross-border infiltration and smuggling operations on various strategic directions. This role was evident during Operation Martyr’s Right in Sinai, and due to the escalation of threats affecting Egyptian national security, the Air Force carried out operations outside The state’s borders when it struck ISIS strongholds in Libya and participated in the Arab coalition in Operation Decisive Storm and Restore Hope, and the Air Force is still carrying out its tasks in eliminating terrorism inside and outside the borders of the country around the clock.

The supply of relief materials for the affected, as well as firefighting by helicopters, and monitoring of our beaches and territorial waters from pollution resulting from ships.
