On the Greek holiday island of Rhodes, tens of thousands of people were brought to safety on Sunday due to a forest fire. A total of around 19,000 people were taken from their homes and hotels. The travel group Tui announced that all trips to the island were canceled up to and including Tuesday. There are currently around 39,000 Tui guests on Rhodes. The consumer protection association (VSV) gives tips on what holidaymakers who are affected now have to consider.
