Directed by Rodolphe Lauga, in addition to Guillaume Canet, it also stars Stéphane Caillard, Nassim Lyes, Zita Hanrot as well as César winner Alexis Manenti.

The famous actor plays Franck Lazareff, who following a failed assassination attempt, must find his wife Leo, who has been kidnapped by a group of armed men.

According to the film’s description, “in his quest to find her, he discovers that his past is chasing him.”

Filming in Paris and Versailles will last until June 20.

As Deadline reports, the movie “Ad Vitam” is expected to debut exclusively on Netflix in 2025.
