“Little Rice” means the name of the company Xiaomi translated. Founded in 2010 by a handful of computer scientists and engineers in China, the technology group now has more than 32,000 employees worldwide and has around 2,000 products in its range. In Austria, the dimensions are of course much smaller: 250 products are sold over the counter, 80 of which are smartphones. Nevertheless, there is still a lot of growth potential, says Xiaomi’s Austria boss Tibor Wagner in an interview.
