It reads like a who’s who of Vorarlberg’s largest companies, but it is a list of the most diligent advertisers from the Wirtschaftsbund magazine “Vorarlberger Wirtschaft”. As is well known, the booklet published by the Economic Association was discontinued following the affair surrounding the ÖVP sub-organization arose. The magazine previously appeared nine times a year, the last time in October, and served as a cash cow for the Wirtschaftsbund. Since 2016, 4.5 million euros have been taken from advertisements. Since this money was not sufficiently taxed from the point of view of the financial auditors, they have now filed a complaint with the Feldkirch public prosecutor’s office.
