Jackson – Six white ex-police officers have been sentenced to long prison terms for the torture and abuse of two black men in the US state of Mississippi. On Thursday followingnoon (local time), a judge in the city of Jackson announced the sentence for the sixth perpetrator, as US media consistently reported. The judge had previously imposed long prison sentences for the other perpetrators. All must go to prison for periods of between 10 and 40 years.
