If a list of the unluckiest players in Pakistan cricket is compiled, the name of left-handed batsman Fawad Ahmed will be at number one.
Fawad Alam appeared to be the best batting player in Pakistan domestically in all forms of cricket but so far he has failed to win the trust of the selectors.
Fawad Alam recently scored his 31st career century against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while representing Sindh in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
He has so far scored 11,559 runs in 247 innings, including 42 unbeaten runs, and this century has taken his career average to 56.38.
Among the players with better averages are India’s Hanuma Vehrai with an average of 60, followed by Bangladesh’s Mossadegh Hussain with an average of 59.58, while Australia’s Steve Smith is third with an average of 59.05.
On the other hand, Fawad Alam does not consider himself an unlucky player, talking about this he said that my job is to perform on the field. Yes, ups and downs are part of life, you don’t always get what you want.
