Last week, an earthquake shook Afghanistan. The quake killed at least 1,000 people, injured 2,000 and damaged 10,000 homes. Pictures of the tragedy in Afghanistan were circulating on social media.
But the image of a pet dog who lost loved ones in the earthquake is now circulating on social media. This puppy is looking for a pet in front of a broken house. The lone dog was picked up by neighbors when everyone in the family died in the quake. But every day the puppy goes to the collapsed building in search of loved ones who have left. He will look for his relatives among the ruins. The pathetic look of the dog in the picture will make anyone’s heart ache. The picture is from Ochi village in Guyana in Paktika.
Every person in the house this dog belongs to was killed in the earthquake. Neighbours said they took him with them to feed/take care of. He keeps coming back to the destroyed house and wails.

Sarima SR, a customer, shared the picture on Twitter. As the film went viral, many came up with comments. When one consumer commented that humans are unfaithful, but that animal fidelity exists, another consumer commented that we humans do not deserve heroes.
