The Hallstatt train platform looks like a business card from the copy shop on which someone had “World Heritage” printed in the Comic Sans font. So somehow patched together semi-charmingly and only fitting for one reason: The European Capital of Culture in Austria was also put together around Bad Ischl this year – from quite a few places and landscapes in one region.
