I have to admit, the role-playing game “Baldur’s Gate 3” wasn’t at the top of my list for this year. I’m not a Dungeons & Dragons nerd, other games from the developer Larian Studios were too long-winded for me, and parallel to the elf story, the sci-fi adventure “Starfield”, which is thematically closer to me, was also on the release calendar. Long story short: “Baldur’s Gate 3” is the best game I’ve played this year – by far.
