Former India batsman Robin Uthappa has expressed hope that Ravichandran Ashwin will be part of India’s World Cup 2023 squad if all-rounder Axar Patel fails to regain fitness tomorrow. “If Axar Patel is not able to regain his fitness, I think Ashwin will make the team. He will be a very dangerous bowler with his experience in India. He has made the most of the opportunity he has been given.” Uthappa said.
