“If he returns, he will come for free. So it will definitely be profitable. Anyway, it is a technical and player decision. Financially Barcelona is moving in the right direction. We have completely changed the structure. From a big squad of players with high salaries and high average age, we have changed to players who fit our structure. That is definitely important. “We have saved Barcelona. But financially, not in a better state. A lot of cost-cutting and tough regulation is needed. There is still a lot of work to be done. Barcelona will be in a good position in the next five years. It will be where it deserves to be in 2024/25,” Romeu said.
