With the coming of the holiday season, the Umrah pilgrimage has become more crowded and expensive. The number of pilgrims from the UAE has increased by 60 percent. Bus services are doubled but there are no seats. Bus and plane tickets and rates at five-star hotels in Makkah and Madinah have gone up sharply.
With this, the cost of the pilgrimage also increased. The hotel is overbooked. Even though three buses are in service, it is not enough.
