UNICEF announced the delivery of a cold chain and personal protective equipment to the Abu Salim Clinics Complex, in order to promote vaccinations for children during the World Immunization Week.

UNICEF stated that, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the National Center for Disease Control, it is distributing cold chains and protective equipment to 71 vaccination sites in Libya.
UNICEF stated that this equipment will ensure that vaccines are stored at an appropriate temperature, and will also protect health care workers from the Corona epidemic.

UNICEF indicated that this initiative is funded by the United States of America and Germany, which have contributed to strengthening the health care system and providing vaccines that save children.
