Al-Marsad Newspaper: The gift of a Saudi daughter to Iraq sparked controversy on social media.
And a video circulating on the communication sites showed: “A citizen is present inside a council in Basra, Iraq, accompanied by his daughter, and he said:” Who will take this building?”, referring to his daughter’s gift to Iraq.
And the citizen added during the video: “The houses of Iraq are all our homes, and all Iraqis are her father.” And he continued: “We do not want anything but to see you and your cohesion. God witnesses what we brought to you except love.”
The clip sparked a state of controversy among the circulators of the clip, and a singer commented, “He got excited more than necessary.. Praise be to God, who has healed us from what afflicted others with, and favored us over many of His creation in preference.”
