A Disturbing discovery has left a Tijuana neighborhood reeling after the bodies of two individuals were found inside a residence on El Saucito Boulevard. The incident, which occurred on thursday, August 7th, remained undetected until residents reported foul odors emanating from the property over the weekend.

Leticia Arzate Arreola, 43, has been identified as one of the victims. Her former partner publicly expressed grief on social media, posting a message stating, “I will always miss you. Thanks for the four years together. From what you gave me and what you took away. You are already resting in peace.” Authorities are withholding the ex-partner’s name as the investigation unfolds.

Police Responded to a 911 call regarding the unpleasant smell coming from the two-story house at the intersection of El Saucito Boulevard and January 15th. The front door was found ajar, having been open for approximately two days. Upon entering, officers discovered the bodies of both victims in the dining room and kitchen, each suffering from gunshot wounds.

Personnel from the Municipal Public Security Directorate (DSPM) secured the scene and collected evidence, including a significant number of spent shell casings. The State Attorney General’s Office subsequently arrived to conduct a thorough investigation and interview neighbors. The bodies were transported to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) for autopsies.

Investigators are currently working to identify the second victim and determine the motive behind this tragic double homicide. The Attorney General’s Office is actively pursuing all leads in this ongoing case.
