Cancun (Mexico): Tunisian tennis player Ones Jabeur said that a part of the prize money from the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) finals will be given to the Palestinian people suffering from Israeli aggression. Jabur’s reaction was in tears following defeating the Czech star Marketa Vondrusova, who beat her in the Wimbledon final. Its video is viral on social media.

“I am happy with the win. I can’t be happy just because of this win. This state of the world does not please me. It is hard and heartbreaking to see babies die every day. So I have decided to donate a part of the prize money to help Palestine’, the only female Arabian player who played in the Grand Slam final responded.

The actor, who was unable to hold back his tears, said that he did not see politics in his decision and said that it was for the sake of humanity. He wants world peace. Trying to stay away from social media as much as possible. But, it is very hard. It’s very depressing to have to see the videos and pictures of the people who are shaking every day,’ the actor added. The star’s announcement was greeted with applause by the spectators who came to watch the match in the Mexican city of Cancun.

The 29-year-old Ons Jabur, who is ranked seventh in the world, is a player who has expressed her position on human rights issues in Central Asia and North Africa many times. So far 8796 people have died in Palestine due to Israeli attacks. This is 3648 children and 2290 women.
