In total, chess players can play 14 games with a time control of 120 minutes for 40 moves, then 60 minutes for 20 moves and 15 minutes until the end of the game with an addition of 30 seconds for each move (from the 61st).

1 point is awarded for a win in a game, 0.5 for a draw. The player with a total score of 7.5 becomes the world champion.

In case of a draw (7:7), a tie-break is played – 4 games with a time control of 25 minutes + 10 seconds per move. If the score remains equal, then 2 games are played with a control of 5 minutes + 3 seconds per move, then 2 more games if necessary, then 3+2 blitz games until the first victory.
