Two crore and thirty five lakh fans applied for tickets in the second round to watch the World Cup football matches in Qatar. Lottery ticket holders will be notified by FIFA e-mail following May 31. FIFA said it had received the most applications from countries such as Brazil and Argentina.

FIFA has released the number of people who have applied for tickets to watch the FIFA World Cup in Qatar from November 21 to December 18. In the first phase, one crore 70 lakh people applied and in the second phase, two crore and thirty five lakh people applied for tickets. The deadline to apply for a ticket was April 4 to 28. The highest number of applications came from Argentina, Brazil, England, France, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the USA. In addition to the finals, Argentina-Mexico, Argentina-Saudi Arabia, England-USA and Poland-Argentina are the most sought following matches. Tickets will be confirmed via FIFA e-mail following May 31. You can buy a ticket by paying accordingly. Those who do not get a ticket will get a chance at the next sale stage.
