Jeddah – Assistant Director General of the General Department of Visas at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Khalid Al Shammari, said that holders of the World Cup’s Haya card are allowed to perform Umrah and visit Madinah.
He said that the visa is free for Haya card holders but it is mandatory to get medical insurance from the visa platform.
The visa will be valid for entry into Saudi Arabia till the last day of December 18, 2022, 10 days before the World Cup starting from November 11. He added that the visa holder’s stay will be for two months.
The Cabinet had earlier approved to meet the cost of e-services related to the e-Visa service platform of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for issuance of entry visa to Saudi Arabia to FIFA Fan Ticket (Hayya Card) holders.
