World Diabetes Day: Dieppe Hospital Center and Résidence du Château Join Forces for Public Awareness and Education

Tuesday, November 14 will be World Diabetes Day. For the first time, professionals from the Dieppe hospital center and the Résidence du Château, in collaboration with second-year nursing students and the teaching team, are mobilizing to inform the public.

Blood sugar measurement

From 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., they will be present around different workshops: therapeutic education; blood sugar measurement; adapted physical activity; diet… Information, prevention and awareness of diabetes will be offered. Sugar-free food tastings will be possible.

Muscle strengthening

Another meeting, at the Résidence du Château from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.: a muscle strengthening workshop and information on the benefits of practicing physical activity as well as blood sugar monitoring and information on diet will be offered.

These actions are free and intended for professionals and the general public.
