USA Breaks 4x400m Championship Record

In the men’s 4x400m relay, the USA team set a championship record of 3:01.52, just shy of the world record. Khaleb McRae anchored the relay, clocking 44.65 seconds during his leg. Belgium finished with a silver at 3:03.29, while Jamaica took bronze at 3:05.99.

Young Stars Shine

In a historic moment, Cooper Lutkenhaus claimed the gold medal in the men’s 800m, becoming the youngest individual medallist in the history of the World Indoor Championships at just 17 years and 93 days. Lutkenhaus finished the race in 1:44.24, while Eliott Crestan from Belgium and Mohamed Attaoui from Spain secured silver and bronze, respectively.

USA Wins Final Gold in Women’s 4x400m

The championships concluded with the USA women’s team winning the 4x400m in a time of 3:25.81, edging out the Netherlands and Spain who finished at 3:26.00 and 3:26.04, respectively. Great Britain & NI finished fifth, showcasing a strong performance throughout the event.
